Paint is expensive and is always appreciated. Good paint is even better. Paint comes in different qualities ranging from Stingers ™ to All-Stars.
Disclaimer: PAINT DOES MATTER. Ask any paintballer, I’m sure they’ll have some anecdote about faulty paint. I can vouch that playing with Stingers(tm) has…things to be desired. It is however cheap and does at least leave the barrel, most of the time.
Being of lower quality, Stinger paint is the most inexpensive but rather unreliable paint. However, almost every player starts with Stingers and will then start playing more and be desiring better paint.
One of the most reliable mid-priced paints is the Premium brand. It is good paint that is very reliable for the price. This paint has many good features such as the following:
- it stores well
- is strong enough to withstand rough transportation
- stands up to all kinds of abuse inside of the gun and hopper
- fairs relativity well in Woodsball, slashing most undergrowth.
All Star paint is one of the best paint ball brands because of its durability and effectiveness. All Stars are designed to have a little of a seam (where they close the paintballs) as possible, decreasing drag as much as possible. It breaks on target with a higher ration than most paint. It marks extremely well, packing just a tad more paint, and stores for ages. Even after storage - it still shoots remarkably straight all the time.
I have never run into any problems with this paint. Even though the price is higher, the paint is well worth the cost. It isn’t your only choice for good paint. Once agin, we recomend www.pbreview.com for high quality third pary reviews on any product, including paint.
